My first job was at a part time Sales Adviser at Matalan Retail. I joined the big team at the bottom of the food chain, but when I left three years later I had become a Customer Service Adviser / Till Champion and an Admin Assistant. Being a CSA / Till Champion included training new staff in most aspects of the job, looking after all 11 tills, dealing with customer complaints and making sure everything runs smoothly. Being an Admin Assistant involved a lot more responsibility and there was only myself and two others that were trusted with this job besides management.
Although this was my first job it gave me a great amount of people skills, decision making and responsibility and set me up for a great career in retail. After leaving this job to move to Plymouth for my final year of University, I got a new part time sales adviser job at Topman. I joined the team in September 2017 and won two awards at the Christmas party that year. The store voted me as 'Best Newcomer' and 'Best at Order In Store'. This is a next day delivery service that the company offers where if an item is out of stock, we can order it in for them and they will receive it the next day, for free. As a target each member of the team is expected to complete two orders a week, whereas I will normally get three per shift each week. More to this, during the peak trading Christmas hours I made the store £600 in two days.

Great people skills, great eye for design, and great with technology. Love meeting new people. Getting involved with trendy new projects, working in a team or individually, getting things done. Confident using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In Design, Final Cut Pro and Premier Pro. Outgoing, hard working and fun to be around.
After studying media at GCSE level I suddenly started having a key interest in the subject and knew I wanted to study the subject further at college. I choose Creative Media BTEC and soon picked up a heavy interest in video production and graphic design. I learnt how to work in groups and individually, as well as how to distribute job roles and make sure all areas of pre/post production were covered and completed to a high standard.
In terms of working with clients and professional practice, I've worked with several companies and produced high quality work for them. While completing my foundation degree in Journalism and Practical Media, I worked alongside the apprenticeship side of Exeter College and produced press releases and short videos for them to distrubute on their website and at events. I've also
worked with a society group from Plymouth University and
created several posters and video for them to play at events
and to use on social media to attract perspective members of the group.
